Apply nowJoin the deck department aboard our Ultramax bulk carriers as Third Officer. You will be responsible for navigational watch-keeping, life-saving appliance maintenance, and medical officer duties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an independent navigational watch in compliance with STCW requirements
- Act as medical officer on board
- Maintain and inspect all life-saving appliances (lifeboats, EPIRBs, fire-fighting equipment)
- Assist the Chief Officer with cargo operations and stability calculations
Requirements
- STCW II/1 Officer of the Watch Certificate (unlimited)
- GMDSS General Operator's Certificate
- Basic Safety Training certificates current
- Good command of English (working language on board)
